Comment | Circuit/wiring diagram shall typically include the following (as relevant for the equipment): - All internal connections for control, alarms, protection, interlocks, trip functions, monitoring, etc.; - Component list for all internal components including control and protection units; - Switchgear/-board tag code; - Cubicle number; - Consumer tag code; - Type of external signals (fire and gas trip signal, etc.); - Power and current rating; - Terminal block/socket number; - Terminal/pin number (including spares); - Internal cable numbers with pair and core colour details; - Destination for internal cables; - Earthing details; - Equipment and equipment connections; - External cable numbers with pair and core colour details; - Signal tag number; - Reference drawings (Company document number); - Reference to loop database for signal interfaced to instrument/automation and telecommunication systems. |
NORSOK Z-001 rationale | The circuit/wiring diagram shall be sufficient for all testing, troubleshooting and maintenance. The principles of the circuit/wiring diagrams shall be in accordance with IEC 61082. NOTE: For customized documentation, handover format shall be native 2D CAD (Z-005) + PDF. The power circuit shall be shown to the extent necessary for the understanding of the circuit functions and for understanding how the components are wired. Contactor and terminal blocks shall be included. This means also including references to equipment not being part of scope of work. The documentation shall reflect the actual internal wiring. Terminal blocks and external references shall be included. Reference shall be made to the supplier's equipment and terminal marking. |
