NORSOK Z-001 rationaleNumerical analyses: If required to clarify wind effects on air inlets and outlets and to determine possible contamination of the air intake from other sources, a numerical analysis shall be carried out, preferably computerized on software agreed with Company. Numerical analysis shall also provide pressure coefficients for calculation of the natural ventilation and make a visualization of the natural ventilation in naturally ventilated areas.

Ventilation Air Volumes: Calculations carried out and documented to determine ventilation in naturally ventilated areas for different wind velocities and directions shall be transferred.

Necessary ventilation volumes shall be determined and documented with regard to potential gas leaks and other contaminations in the ventilated area.
