Source ontology | norsok-z001 |
Comment | Typical contents shall be:
- Related servers, switches, routers, firewalls and computers represented by a relevant symbol, marked with its identification and description of function;
- Location of the equipment identifying the zone for the system;
- Communication between units shall be indicated, also wireless interfaces;
- Reference to information concerning IP/MAC addresses (restricted information);
- Reference to information concerning firewall rules (restricted information);
- Signal type, protocol and function (typ. RS232, control signal) if applicable;
- Colour coding to indicate criticality level of the system. For smaller technical networks the information from the subsystem block diagram can be integrated in the overall system topology, provided the readability of the drawing are maintained. |
NORSOK Z-001 rationale | Overall network topology shall show topology of technical network and subnetwork to give a functional understanding and a foundation for a risk and vulnerability analysis. |
NORSOK Z-001 interests stakeholder category | instrumentation engineering |
NORSOK Z-001 describes structural element | Main power (u = or <1.0 kV) |
Fire and gas detection | |
Emergency shutdown and blow down
Main power (1.0 kV< u < 6.6 kV)
Emergency power (u = or >1.0 kV)
