Plot plan drawings

One plot plan drawing for each area/deck level shall be produced. The plot plan drawing shall cover the entire process plant/deck area. The size of the facility will determine the scale of the drawing, but normally a scale of 1:500 on an A3 format shall be aimed for.

The following content shall be included on the drawings:

• Plant/Platform Northing and orientation with respect of true north;
• Gridlines with north and east references;
• Scale bar;
• Elevations of all decks/platforms;
• Area segregation, with fire partitions indicated;
• Safety evacuation equipment, such as escape tunnels, lifeboats (offshore), escape chutes (offshore), etc.;
• MOB boat location (offshore);
• Helideck location;
• Location of cranes, with boom rests and maintenance platforms. Lifting capacity radiuses to be indicated;
• Hose loading station and tote tank area (offshore);
• Laydown areas;
• Waste sorting stations;
• Main pipe racks;
• Main stairs, access and escape routes;
• Main material handling routes;
• Manifold area arrangement;
• Wellhead area including well slots;
• Drilling derrick extreme outlines indicated;
• Location of temporary well intervention equipment;
• Flare tower location and extreme outlines indicated;
• HVAC, instrument and electrical rooms (offshore);
• Control room (offshore);
• Living Quarter (offshore);
• Main structures;
• Location of all major equipment as identified in MEL;
• Main equipment shall be tagged according to MEL. An equipment index shall be included on the drawing;
• Space allocation for risers, J-tubes and umbilicals including temporary equipment (pulling arrangement) (offshore);
• Space for future modules/equipment.
